Slanted Comedy is the longest running premier Asian comedy show on the scene today. It was first introduced at the Hollywood Improv September 1, 2005 by Edwin San Juan, and the reins had been handed over to executive producer Mike Abara AKA Black Mike. Slanted Comedy brings you a showcase of Asian comics with a long list of credits from Comedy Central, BET, The Tonight Show With Jay Leno, Showtime, HBO, The Late Late Show, Lopez Tonight, Last Call With Carson Daly, Jimmy Kimmel Live and the list just keeps on growing. Numerous celebrities have also dropped in and performed at Slanted Comedy shows. Current producing partners, Mike Abara & Walter Hong, have taken Slanted Comedy to new heights and it’s only going to get better. Slanted Comedy wants to let everyone know that Asians are funny and talented too. Asians need their night of live comedy and it is finally here. All in all, this show was made for everyone.
